Latin Grammy winner and world-class trumpeter Charlie Sepúlveda is one of the last true giants of Latin jazz. Don’t miss this rare chance to see him live in Milwaukee with The Turnaround.
Hailing from Luquillo, Puerto Rico, Sepúlveda brings a powerful fusion of Afro-Caribbean rhythms and bold jazz improvisation. With 12 albums as a bandleader, a Latin Grammy, four Grammy nods, and collaborations with legends like Dizzy Gillespie and Tito Puente, his trumpet has earned global acclaim.
As musical director for Jazz at Lincoln Center in Puerto Rico and professor at the Conservatory of Music, his visit is a cultural moment for Milwaukee. His latest HighNote releases push the boundaries of Latin jazz with signature soul and style.
