Try it Thursday: Plein Air Painting Outdoors
Want to try something creative but don’t want the hassle of buying supplies and making the mess at home? Gather a friend or two, and come on in for a one night only make it and take it art experience. Teens 14+ are also welcome. All materials are provided.
Tonight: Basic plein air techniques will be covered. Choose a composition and create sketches for a canvas design. Then, with quick, loose brushstrokes, finish the painting. This class is recommended for those comfortable painting in Wisconsin spring weather conditions. Dress for outdoors.
Online registration closes three business days before class begins. You may also call 262-636-9177 to check for class availability, and to register, Monday through Saturday, 10:00 am – 4:00 pm. Class held at RAM’s Wustum Museum, 2519 Northwestern Avenue, Racine.
