Stippled Fruit Painting Workshop
From Pointillism, a historical art movement made famous by Georges Seurat, to cross-hatching and stippling to pixels on a computer, mark-making using small bits of contrasting and analogous colors next to each other is a fun, energetic way to create an image. Abstract art serves many design functions such as the abstraction of a realistic image like fruit in a still life. Create an image of any type of abstracted fruit to decorate your kitchen. Basic painting supplies are provided, but students are welcome to bring art materials of their choice. Teenagers, age 14 and older, may take most adult classes; some require teacher’s consent.
Online registration closes three business days before class begins. You may also call 262-636-9177 to check for class availability, and to register, Mondays through Saturdays, 10:00 am – 4:00 pm. Classes are held at RAM’s Wustum Museum, 2519 Northwestern Avenue, Racine.
