Sgraffito Ceramic Plates Workshop, 2 Saturdays: 3/23, AND 4/06
Learn the art of sgraffito, which involves scratching designs into underglazed clay to show the contrast between color and the clay body, to create one-of-a-kind designs on a ceramic plate. This is a fun way to make a decorative and functional art work for your home! Teenagers aged 14 and older may take most adult classes; some require teacher’s consent. Clay, glazes, and firings included in class fee.
Online registration closes three business days before class begins. You may also call 262-636-9177 to check for class availability, and to register, Mondays through Saturdays, 10:00 am – 4:00 pm. Class is held at RAM’s Wustum Museum, 2519 Northwestern Avenue, Racine.
