Walk for PI MIlwaukee

Join the Immune Deficiency Foundation (IDF) on Saturday, August 2 at the Milwaukee Zoo as we Walk for PI (primary immunodeficiency). Registration begins at 9:00 am with the Opening Ceremony beginning at 10:45 am and the Walk following immediately afterwards. Founded in 1980, IDF is a non-profit dedicated to helping those who are affected by PI. The mission of IDF is to improve the diagnosis, treatment and quality of life of people affected by PI through fostering a community empowered by advocacy, education and research. It is estimated that more than 70% of people with a PI don’t even know they have one. IDF continues to prioritize the importance of supporting and bringing awareness to the general immunocompromised community in an effort to both shorten the time to PI diagnosis and increase access to resources and support. The funds raised from Walk for PI will enable IDF to provide educational resources and programs at no cost to individuals and families. Additionally, the funds will fuel critical patient-focused research, drive advancements in diagnosis and treatment accessibility, and unite the PI community, reminding them that they are never alone in their journey. Registration is required and it is free to register, but fundraising is encouraged. IDF offers great fundraising incentives for participants! Every participant that raises $100 will receive the Thrive in 2025 Walk for PI t-shirt. Other fundraising incentives are offered at $250 raised and include a heated vest, noise cancelling headphones, carry-on luggage, an outdoors pizza oven, and more!
