Paul Kaye Live concert filming.
Racine filmmakers Michelle Ortwein and Jim McVeigh are producing a live concert film to be shot in
Racine, WI by award winning documentarian Dan Ollman.
The concert will feature Paul Kaye playing live his recently recorded country blues album, “Ham
Bone Crave”. He will also be accompanied by world renowned Chicago harmonica player James
Conway and trio “Poor Man’s Whisky”. The filming will take place at McAuliffe’s Pub, 3700 Meachem
Rd, Racine, WI 53405, Sunday, June 9 th , 5pm – 8pm.
This is the latest project from “Upper Meadow Films”, based in Racine, who specialize in music
documentaries. As well as being a great music event, it is also an opportunity to observe how a
documentary film is made and all that is involved in making a project of this nature happen. As an
audience member you will also be part of the final project.
The documentary is a celebration of a great American art form, Country Blues, and will serve as an
introduction to any curious music fan.
