Memorable Ordinary Opening Reception
The Kim Storage Gallery is thrilled to present "Memorable Ordinary," an exhibition by Wisconsin-based mixed media artist Megan Woodard Johnson. Johnson’s art delves into the rich landscape of everyday experiences, layering vintage paper ephemera, paint, and found objects to evoke nostalgia and shared histories. Her works, such as "New Box of Crayons" and "Walks to School," capture the beauty of seemingly mundane moments that resonate universally.
The exhibition kicks off with an opening reception on July 19th from 5 to 9 PM, followed by an artist talk on July 20th at 1:30 PM. Join us to explore the intricate and colorful narratives Johnson weaves into her compelling mixed media pieces.
