55th Morris Fromkin Memorial Lecture at UWM
Nan Kim, UWM associate professor of history and co-chair of the public history program, presents the 55th Morris Fromkin Memorial Lecture at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, October 17, 2024 in the fourth floor Conference Center of the UWM Golda Meir Library. The talk is also available virtually.
The title of her talk is “Environmental Crisis and Social Justice in the New Nuclear Age: Contemporary Legacies of Rachel Carson and Jonathan Schell.”
Established by Morris Fromkin’s family and supported by an endowment from Fromkin’s grandson, Daniel Soyer, the lecture series, dedicated to social justice, is the longest running lecture series on campus.
