Learn the basics of food preservation techniques, including canning, dehydrating, freezing and fermenting, to extend the harvest from your garden through the winter. RUGN Board members Donna Delmar, Sara Wroblewski and Abigail A'Kessler will share their tips and techniques for equipment, setup and timing. There will be opportunity to ask questions, try samples of preserved foods and enter the raffle basket drawing. The workshop is free and open to the public. It will be located in the classroom at the EAA Museum. There is free parking.
