For the Fireworks on Friday, July 3rd, bring your blankets and chairs, and come early, starting at 6:00 p.m., to enjoy the Neighborhood Beer Garden with beverages and food trucks and an amazing performance by 5 Card Studs!
America250:Waukesha Parade: July 4, 2026, at 11:00 a.m.
Join us for our hometown Independence Day Parade! This year's theme is "America250:Waukesha". The parade will begin on Barstow Street at the Lee Sherman Dreyfus State Office Building (141 NW Barstow Street), proceed down Main Street, turn onto Maple Avenue and end at Wisconsin Avenue.
Children's Bike Unit in the Parade
Children may be a part of the Children’s Unit with their bikes, trikes, and strollers (no motorized units). Families may walk into the lineup area at the State Office Building and line up near the Children’s Unit sign beginning at 10:00 am. Bike helmets are encouraged. No registration is required.
Parade Route, Parking & Road Closures
No vehicles may be parked along the parade route starting at 7:00 a.m. on July 4. Roads will be closed starting at 10:00 a.m. on July 4. No traffic will be able to enter or exit the parade perimeter until the conclusion of the parade around 1:00 p.m.
For spectators coming to the parade, please park in street parking or City parking lots near the parade route and walk to your viewing location.
