THE WEIR - "Pint and a Play" reading by Milwaukee Irish Arts
A “Pint and a Play” returns to County Clare’s Joyce Room as Milwaukee Irish Arts celebrates Halloween weekend with a reading of Conor McPherson’s haunting, award-winning play THE WEIR. Four men gather by the fire in an isolated pub on Ireland’s storm-swept west coast, their pints and their tales flowing freely. The arrival of a newcomer to the village – a woman – spurs them to impress her with stories of souls past and spirits very much present. But one story cuts deeper, revealing a truth more chilling and more human than any of them could have foreseen.
