Step beyond the exhibits and into Harley-Davidson history. During this special Stories in the Vault program, a rare 1920 Harley-Davidson J Model is brought out for a live demonstration, offering a firsthand look at what it took to ride a motorcycle a century ago.
Stories in the Vault offers rare access to Harley-Davidson history not typically part of an H-D Museum visit. These special programs are offered only on select dates, giving guests the opportunity to experience artifacts from the collection in a live, in-person setting.
After selling out earlier this year, Stories in the Vault returns for a second opportunity.
During this exclusive program, a rare 1920 Harley-Davidson J Model is brought out from the collection for a live demonstration led by the H-D Archives team. Guests will discover how early riders started their motorcycles, kept them running and navigated the roads of the 1920s, long before modern conveniences, paved highways and built-in safety features.
More than a display, this experience brings history to life through demonstration, storytelling and expert insight. Learn about the mechanics, challenges and ingenuity required to ride a Harley-Davidson motorcycle 100 years ago.
Advance tickets are required. Capacity is limited and registration closes once the program reaches capacity.
