a one-night-only guest shift bringing together leaders from some of the city’s most celebrated bar programs. Behind the bar, simultaneously, will be: Rio Azmee, Creative Director and Partner of Stone & Soil, the acclaimed NoMad cocktail bar known for its precision-driven drinks and Japanese-inspired hospitality Meaghan Dorman, award-winning bartender and Bar Director behind Dear Irving. Jonathan Adler, Beverage Director of Shinji’s, the 18-seat cocktail bar from the team behind Sushi Noz and Noda Together, the trio will present a special selection of cocktails reflecting their distinctive approaches to modern bartending — from Japanese precision and sustainability to maximalist technique and elevated classics. Rio Azmee Creative Director & Partner, Stone & Soil (New York) Raised in New York in an immigrant family, Rio Azmee brings a global perspective and deep respect for Japanese hospitality to his work. At Stone & Soil, he blends technique, sustainability, and storytelling through cocktails built around house fermentation, whole ingredients, and meticulous balance. The NoMad bar pairs Japanese bartending discipline with minimalist Japandi design and a food menu from Michelin-starred Chef Hisanori Yamamoto of icca. Meaghan Dorman Bar Director, Dear Irving (New York) A celebrated bartender, educator, and hospitality leader, Meaghan Dorman has created award-winning cocktail programs at Dear Irving, Dear Irving on Hudson, and Raines Law Room. Known for her elegant cocktails and immersive bar concepts, Dorman brings a holistic approach to hospitality that blends craft, ambience, music, and storytelling. Jonathan Adler Beverage Director, Shinji’s (New York) At the 18-seat bar Shinji’s, Jonathan Adler takes a maximalist, technique-driven approach to cocktails. His program relies on cutting-edge preparation methods and extensive development — exemplified by drinks like the Tropicana, a cocktail perfected over 18 months and served in a frozen orange shell. The bar also offers seasonal Japanese seafood, hand rolls, uni, and caviar.
