Fiddling Around
Who doesn’t like to Fiddle Around? Come learn about the string instruments of the orchestra and enjoy three entertaining musical stories by Bruce Adolphe!
In The King, the Cat and the Fiddle, the king encounters seemingly insurmountable troubles, and finds that music is the answer to his problems. The story is filled with playful humor, the importance of music, and the message that sometimes the best solutions come from the heart rather than the ledger.
In The Nightingale, based on the famous Hans Christian Anderson fairy tale, a King learns the hard way that there is no substitute for the real thing. And in Farmony, YOU become part of the show, playing barnyard animals! The string quartet mimics the sound of the animals, offering a delightful experience that blurs the lines between concert music and playful soundscapes, inviting audiences of all ages to enjoy and participate in the fun.
Performed by soloists from Orchestra Miami with favorite guest narrator Lovell Rose, you won’t want to miss this entertaining and educational afternoon of string music. The concert is for kids of all ages and lasts approximately one hour. Free cookies and juice are served after the show- always free parking at Pinecrest Gardens!
