We will not be on the beach or handling live animals. This training will go over horseshoe crab biology, ecology, and the creation of the Florida Horseshoe Crab Watch program. Participants will learn the practical skills required to perform horseshoe crab beach nesting surveys and become familar with the survey schedule. Participation in the training does not commit anyone to performing surveys.
