For years, The Friends of the Hepburn Center, Inc. has served as a backbone for the Hallandale Beach community. As a proud recipient of the Chamber of Commerce Nonprofit of the Year Award, our mission is simple yet vital: to provide a safe, nurturing, and intellectually stimulating environment for local youth.
Through our Afterschool Tutorial Enrichment Programs, we ensure that children from all backgrounds have access to the academic support, mentorship, and resources they need to thrive, break barriers, and build bright futures.
What began as a community gathering has grown into our premier annual fundraiser. By blending the energy of the fastest-growing sport in America with a deep commitment to our kids, this event unites local businesses, leaders, and residents for a single, powerful cause.
As such, we invite you to attend The Friends of the Hepburn Center, Inc. will be hosting its 3rd Annual Pickleball Experience Fundraising Event on Saturday, September 19, 2026, from 11am to 1 pm at the Golden Isles Tennis Center, 600 Blue Heron Drive, Hallandale Beach, FL 33009. Proceeds will benefit the children enrolled in the Hepburn Center After School Tutorial Enrichment, Spring and Summer Camp Programs.
