Bugging Out at Fairchild is bigger and buggier than ever with towering robotic insects, a brand-new walk-through butterfly pavilion, and live encounters with some of the coolest creatures in the insect kingdom. Get close to some of Martin’s live insects in Wings of the Tropics and learn more about their fascinating world at our specimen display station presented by Fairchild Garden’s staff and volunteers. It’s bold. It’s buggy. And it’s only here for a limited time. Event Highlights Larger-than-life bug sculptures crawling across the Garden. Flutter through the Butterfly Pavilion and immerse yourself in a colorful adventure surrounded by hundreds of free-flying, dazzling butterflies in a tropical paradise. Bug Talks: Educational and interactive moments hosted throughout the Garden. Bugs on Parade! A live insect runway show with costumes, cameos, and plenty of six-legged strut. (Friday – Monday) Wander & Glow through Garden trails, illuminated sculptures, and nocturnal magic after dark. Buggy Bar & Boozy Blockbuster a 21+ garden party with bug-inspired small bites and craft beers.
