Key Biscayne Piano Festival
Sailing into its sixth season, the Key Biscayne Piano Festival proudly presents the highly acclaimed Ukrainian pianist Illia Ovcharenko in collaboration with the Miami International Piano Festival, Village of Key Biscayne, and Key Biscayne Community Foundation. Fresh from an international tour and two stellar performances at Carnegie Hall, Ovcharenko has been hailed as “a remarkably stylish Mozartian” by The Calgary Herald.
Kicking off the new year with a lineup of world-renowned musicians, the Key Biscayne Piano Festival invites patrons to indulge in light bites and wine from 6 pm to 6:45 pm before the performance starting sharply at 7 pm on January 26th. This concert marks the first in a two-part series, with the second concert scheduled for March 1st.
For those staying until the end of the performance, an exclusive Q&A session with the artist will take place on stage.
“The program is beautiful, featuring works from Chopin, Scarlatti, and Liszt. We’ll embark on a journey through three different eras and musical styles,” says Amarylli Fridegotto, Founder and Executive Director. “This season, we continue our tradition of presenting exceptional pianists in collaboration with the Miami International Piano Festival.”
Please note food, drinks, and seats are available on a “first come, first serve” basis, and are not permitted inside the church. This uninterrupted one-hour event is free and open to the public.
