Special Magistrates Hearings
Residents who fail to correct violations, pay fines within required timeframes, or request a hearing may face additional penalties and daily fines. The Board is composed of five mayoral appointees, ratified by Council, and holds authority to subpoena witnesses, take testimony under oath, and assess civil penalties. Open to the public.
