What's Your Sign? Music of the Zodiac
Desert Overture, Phoenix's Premiere LGBT Orchestra presents What's Your Sign? Music of the Zodiac, March 26, 2023, 3:00 p.m. at the Tempe Center for the Arts, 700 West Rio Salado Parkway, Tempe, AZ 85281. Tickets are $20 for adults; $15 for seniors and students with identification. Children, 12 and under, are free. There is a $5.00 surcharge at the door. Desert Overture, with its more than 50 musicians, was formed in 2010 and remains a hidden cultural gem in the Valley of the Sun. The concert band is an active member of the Pride Bands Alliance, which has grown to 37 member bands across the country, as well as internationally. A cultural gem in the Valley, Desert Overture performs several major concerts each year.
"The zodiac inspires a cosmic music celebration," said Scott Helms, Desert Overture Artistic Director. "There's beautiful music radiating from the stars in the night sky."
Desert Overture is partially funded by the City of Tempe – Community Arts Grant.
