The town of Kearny sits at the base of some of the most majestic mountain ranges in the state. They are filled with great trails for hiking. Kearny is an Arizona Trails town. It is an hour and a half from both Tucson and Phoenix, in the Copper Corridor region of the state. The town is nestled in a little valley and the Gila River runs right along the edge of the town. The festival is located at the local rodeo grounds adjacent to the river. There is plenty of room for camping. The tree-lined streets, mountain views, lake, parks, restaurants, hiking, and OHV trails give guests much to explore. It is a fun-filled day trip for the entire family. If you decide to stay for both days, tent camping is available on-site or you can book a room locally at the General Kearny Inn, or nearby in Superior, Arizona at the historic Magma Hotel or the Copper Mountain Motel. Don't miss out on being part of history along the Gila River in Kearny, Arizona!
