Annual Wreaths Across America - Green Acres Cemetery
This year, National Wreaths Across America Day will be held on Saturday, December 16, 2023. Join the more than two million volunteers and supporters who will gather to Remember, Honor and Teach at more than 4,000 participating locations in all 50 states, at sea and abroad.
Green Acres Cemetery will participate in Wreaths Across America™ Day and place remembrance wreaths on the headstones of up to 1,600 veterans laid to rest in the cemetery. As each wreath is placed, the veteran’s name will be read aloud to ensure the individual who served in the U.S. armed forces is not forgotten. Please join us at 10AM for a ceremony to honor our veterans and volunteers will place the wreaths immediately following,
