31st Annual Carefree Fine Art & Wine Festival

This year's Winter Carefree Fine Art & Wine Festival promises to be a celebration of creativity, culture, and community. With our 31st winter festival, we have curated an exceptional lineup of artists who will showcase their masterpieces across various mediums. From stunning oil paintings that capture the essence of nature, to intricate sculptures that push the boundaries of imagination, there will be something to captivate every art enthusiast. But it's not just about the art; we believe in creating an immersive experience for our guests. As you stroll through the festival grounds, you'll have the opportunity to indulge in a selection of fine wines and spirits carefully chosen to complement your artistic journey. Sip on a velvety red while admiring Carefree’s botanical gardens or savor a crisp white as you listen to the musical stylings of Vegas Jukebox. The variety of mediums and styles showcased at the Thunderbird Artists festival ensures that there is something to suit every collector's taste and preference. Not only does Thunderbird Artists offer a diverse range of artwork, but it also prides itself on the quality of the pieces exhibited. Each artist is carefully selected through a juried process, ensuring that only the finest artists are represented at the festival. This commitment to excellence guarantees that collectors can trust in the authenticity and craftsmanship of the artwork they acquire. In addition to its reputation for quality and diversity, Thunderbird Artists has become renowned for fostering a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere. The festival provides a unique opportunity for art enthusiasts to engage directly with the artists themselves, gaining insight into their creative processes and inspirations. This personal connection between artist and collector adds an extra layer of meaning to each piece acquired, making it more than just a decorative item but a cherished work of art with a story behind it. This year’s featured artist is oil painter, Chris Dellorco, (artwork pictured throughout) who creates photo realism pieces, specializing in the female form. The festivals hosts Arizona wineries, distributors, distilleries and microbreweries allowing attendees to sample a wide variety of unique drinks while captivating themselves in the world of fine art. The marriage of these two distinct forms of artistry creates an unparalleled sensory experience for attendees. Visitors love tasting wines exclusive to Arizona that showcase the unique terroir of the region and offer a taste that is both distinctive and memorable. From velvety reds to crisp whites and everything in between, there is something to please every wine connoisseur's discerning taste buds. With each sip, attendees can savor the complex flavors and aromas that are often only available through the event. Born in Los Angeles, Chris’ initial interest in the interplay between art and architectural history began with a degree in Developmental Economics from U.C. Berkeley. Desiring a more creative field, he switched his focus from academics to art and went on to establish himself as one of the country’s foremost illustrators. Although completely self-taught, his art career has spanned all aspects of illustration while specializing in the film industry, children’s products and children’s books. A true renaissance man, along with a degree in Economics and a successful art career, he has also successfully written and directed an award-winning short film. Chris had been widely considered one of Disney’s top illustrators for print advertising, specializing in Home Video packaging. His covers range from the award winning “The Lion King”, “Snow White” to “Lilo and Stich” and everything in between.
