The Neurodiversity STEAM Fest is an inclusive showcase for STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) Education that highlights a co-designed computational thinking curriculum and wearable music sensors called Neurodiverse Educational Wearable Music Tech (NEWMT).
There will also be a hands-on exhibitor area, student interactive break-out sessions, and teacher learning break-out sessions. All ages welcome, but activities are geared for 4th-9th graders.
Be sure to stay until the end for student door prizes and teacher PD certificates!
This event is sponsored by an NSF Computer Science for All grant project (#2122924) conducted by professors and researchers at the Neurodiversity Education Research Center (NERC), Arizona State University's Mary Lou Fulton Teachers College, Arizona State University's School of Arts, Media, and Engineering, and several teachers from across Arizona.
