RESISTANCE IN ACTION: SOCIAL JUSTICE RESOURCE FAIR
Team Resistance Arizona is proud to announce Resistance in Action: A Social Justice Resource Fair, taking place Saturday, September 6, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at 6400 W Del Rio St, Chandler, AZ. This free, family-friendly event will bring together more than 25 local progressive organizations working across movements to advance social justice, equity, and community resilience. Featured participants include well-known groups such as Save Our Schools Arizona, Healthcare Rising Arizona, Mass Liberation AZ, and Black Lives Matter PHX Metro, alongside emerging grassroots organizations eager to engage with the community.
Attendees can expect:
An indoor gallery of local organizations offering resources and opportunities to get involved
A series of 30-minute workshops on timely topics
Childcare for ages 4-12 provided on-site
A donation hub supporting three Valley-based community aid groups
Local food trucks serving up delicious eats (attendee-paid)
“Our goal is to create a space where people can connect, learn, and take action,” said Conner, organizer with Team Resistance Arizona. “This event is about building momentum across movements and empowering our community to make a difference.”
