Annual Children's Memorial Flagraising Ceremony
The Memphis Child Advocacy Center will raise the Children’s Memorial Flag for children who have died due to abuse or neglect in the past 12 months. Rev. Melvin D. Watkins, Jr., Mayor Paul Young, MPD Chief CJ Davis, and other community leaders will speak. A dove will be released for each child. April is National Child Abuse Prevention Month. In case of rain, event will be in the Shelby County Administration Building lobby. #CACRemembers
