Annual Children's Memorial Flagraising
The Memphis Child Advocacy Center will raise the Children’s Memorial Flag for children who have died as a result of abuse or neglect in the past 12 months. Mayor Paul Young, CAC Board member Rebekka Freeman Terrell, Dr. Lauren Burge, and other community leaders will participate. A dove will be released for each child. April is National Child Abuse Prevention Month. In case of rain, the event will be in the Shelby County Administration Building lobby. #CACRemembers
