All proceeds from the Strides for Mission 5k will directly support the MAMA Project, Inc. MAMA Project is a ministry connecting North Americans and Hondurans to work on many of the problems that cause suffering in Honduras. The race route will feature the picturesque farms and country side of Bedminster Township surrounding Deep Run East Church. Awards will be given to first male and female overall finishers and the top male and female finishers in each age group as follows: 19 & under, 5 year increments thereafter, 60 & over. Entry fees must be postmarked by 9/8/08. Long sleeved t-shirts will be distributed to the first 100 pre-registered Strides for Mission 5k runners. The Strides for Mission pre-event registration is $20 and $25 for day-of event registration. Make your check payable to Deep Run Mennonite Church East (in the Memo line designate Strides for Mission 5k) and mail to Deep Run Mennonite Church East, 350 Kellers Church Road, Perkasie, PA 18944.
