Nature 101 Walks at Overton Park
Ever wondered about the chirping bird or what flower is blooming next to the trail? Curious about the lizards that bask in the sun or the colorful fungi that grow on the logs? Join Overton Park Conservancy staff and volunteers in Nature 101 walks! These guided group walks in the Old Forest in Overton Park will help beginners identify the wildlife and plants living in the heart of Memphis. Each hour-long walk is focused on a particular group of organisms, with groups departing hourly from 9:00 – 11:00 AM. Sign up at https://www.overtonpark.org/nature101.
