Memphis Power Summit
Stand for Children, Memphis for All, Memphis Artists for Change, Memphis Community Against Pollution, and partners invite emerging and experienced community organizers for a day of workshops to network and build skills. We're excited for this chance to learn, refresh, and strategize together ahead of 2024, which promises to be a big year of opportunities for progress and change. We'll have sessions for both seasoned organizers and people who are brand new to the work, so there will be something for everyone!
On December 15 (the night before the summit) there will be an optional mixer where attendees can get to know each other over food and drink. Current and new elected officials will be invited too, so Summit registrants will get a chance to establish, or strengthen already existing, relationships with local elected leaders! The sign-up for the mixer will be provided upon summit registration.

Breakout Sessions (open to all attendees)
- Moving our Allies One-On-One
- Media 101
- Using AI in Advocacy
- Statewide Advocacy (recommended for seasoned organizers)
During lunch, all attendees will get the chance to attend a panel on the importance of healing and developing a community of care as we continue the work of changing systems to bring a brighter future to our communities.
