ANF Architects is delighted to announce an exclusive art event featuring local artist Iwona Rhodes. Join us Friday, May 10th from 5-7pm as we welcome Iwona to our gallery, where she will unveil her latest collection, "Seaside and Beyond," alongside a selection of her captivating linear graphic prints, some of which have been published in a stunning art book.
Originally from Gdynia, Poland, Iwona Rhodes draws inspiration from her coastal upbringing, infusing her work with a deep sense of longing for the ocean. "Seaside and Beyond" is a heartfelt exploration of her personal connection to the sea, portraying it as both a physical place and a metaphorical home of creation and ultimate return.
Iwona describes this collection as "a very personal visualization” of her emotions. Through a mesmerizing display of monochromatic blue paintings executed in acrylic and mixed media, Iwona invites viewers to experience a profound sense of relaxation, beauty, serenity, and mystery. The dominant blue color in her art symbolizes a longing for home in its various forms. Iwona's blend of impressionism and expressionism creates a compelling visual narrative, encouraging viewers to explore the unseen depths of the ocean, both literal and metaphorical.
