7th Annual South Texas Adolescent Health Summit

In its 7th year, this summit targets highly focused professionals from the Rio Grande Valley, including social workers, clinicians, counselors, researchers, practitioners, educators, and youth service professionals who serve young people in this region of Texas. This continuing education opportunity allows participants to receive valuable continuing education and have the opportunity to gain and refine skills while networking with colleagues

The goal of the South Texas Summit is to increase knowledge, skills, and abilities among adults who provide services and support to adolescents on the Texas – Mexico Border about adolescent development, positive youth development, adolescent-friendly services, and how to apply the quality components of care through the stages of adolescence.
