IARGV in partnership with the City of Pharr presents 7th IARGV Cricket Tournament starting on 21 October 2023 at 9:30AM and finals on 12 November 2023 at 10:00AM followed by closing ceremonies and snacks. Games will be played Saturdays and Sundays up until the final day. So mark your calendar and come, support and encourage the players to give a smashing games of cricket. Winning or losing a game is part of the play, however, enjoying the game and making a memorable sport is greater importance along with encouraging todays youth to want to learn the game. Cricket is played by 11 players on each team with bat, ball, a pitch at the center of the field, stumps, umpires, scorer and backup players. At some games a sports commentator to make the game entertaining for all to watch and understand. Cricket first started in 16 century and now played globally at international level. So come on down and encourage the teams to give it there best and learn along the game of Cricket.
