The Fersch Trio


On Wednesday, December 13, 2023 the Wayne Public Library’s Lunchbox Learning program will be The Fersch Trio featuring Joanne Keeler on flute, Anne Simon on clarinet, and Paul Fersch on piano. Doors open at 12:00 pm and the program begins at 12:30 pm. This will be a hybrid program. Please register on the Wayne Public Library’s online calendar at http://www.waynepubliclibrary.org/ Just click on the date and scroll down to the title of the program. The Zoom Link is located at the end of the program description – just click on it. This program is free and open to the public. The room is handicapped accessible. The Friends will be serving light refreshments and you are welcome to bring your own lunch. The Fersch Trio is a classical trio that has been performing together for over 20 years at various venues in New York, New Jersey and Connecticut. Joanne Keeler is the Principal Flutist with the North Jersey Symphony Orchestra. Joanne is frequently a guest artist at programs all over the Metropolitan area. Anne Simon has taught instrumental music in the Montville Township school district for many years. In addition to performing with the Fersch Trio, she plays clarinet, flute, alto and tenor saxophones regularly for various community theatre groups in the tri-state region, and is currently co-principal clarinetist with the North Jersey Symphony Orchestra. Paul Fersch performs extensively with the Fersch Trio and is a solo artist. Paul has been an active studio musician and has composed works for solo piano. Additionally, he has composed psalm settings for the three year church cycle in his post as Organist/Music Director for Saint Mary’s Church in Dover, New Jersey.
