Most Sacred Heart Mass of Anointing
As we celebrate our 45th Anniversary, Most Sacred Heart Share and Care invites all parishioners, families, friends and visitors to celebrate a Fall Mass of Anointing at Most Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, 127 Paterson Avenue, Wallington, on Saturday, October 4, at 11 a.m. Come experience the beautiful serenity, of peace and comfort for mind, body and soul offered at this Mass.
If you have never received this Sacrement before, the Mass of Anointing consists essentially in the placing of hands by the priest on the head of the person and then anointing of the forehead and hands of the person. As the priest is anointing the person, he is asking for the special grace provided by this Sacrement.
Light refreshments will be served in the great hall immediately after the service. The church and great hall are handicapped accessible.
