“Strange Tales From a Chinese Studio” Halloween Party at Hutong New York
This Halloween, acclaimed Northern Chinese restaurant Hutong New York invites guests to step into a world of mystery and the supernatural with Strange Tales From a Chinese Studio, an elegant Halloween soirée inspired by a centuries-old collection of supernatural stories from China’s Qing Dynasty. Held at The Shanghai Bar, Hutong’s intimate Art Deco lounge, the evening will feature DJ entertainment, festive cocktails, costume prizes and an atmospheric celebration inspired by ghosts, spirits and otherworldly encounters.
The festivities begin at 9 PM with a cocktail-style reception featuring unlimited passed dim sum and a welcome cocktail ($78 per person). Guests can also join the late-night celebration beginning at 10:30 PM, with admission and a welcome cocktail for $25 per person. The celebration is legally 21+, and culturally 30+. Costumes are encouraged, with a dress code of “Strange Chic - the stranger, the better.”
