Stand-Up Comedy - Dan Perlman: Live at Grove 34 in Queens
Writer, director, star of Showtime’s Flatbush Misdemeanors, Dan Perlman returns to his longtime home of Astoria for a rare, extended stand-up set. Known his sharp, thoughtful POV, Dan delivers hilarious material that hits hard and lingers long after. He'll be joined by some of the best comedians in the city.
As a stand-up, Dan has been featured on Comedy Central, worked as a regular at The Comedy Cellar in NYC, and headlined at venues nationwide, including The Kennedy Center in DC. Dan’s debut album, Emergency Contact, is a staple on SiriusXM, where he’s also been a longtime regular guest on Bennington. dan is best known as the creator-star of the critically-acclaimed Showtime comedy, Flatbush Misdemeanors. Flatbush received a 100% rating on Rotten Tomatoes and unanimous praise from outlets including The New York Times, Variety, Roger Ebert, TIME, and The Guardian. Dan made his directorial debut in the Flatbush episode, “boomerang,” which Vulture praised for its “masterful direction.”
