The Orpheus Club Men's Chorus is a singing force for good throughout the greater New York/New Jersey metropolitan area. It comprises men who love to sing, enjoy the company of like-minded men, and perform with a sense of service to the larger community.
This concert will also be the conducting debut of their new Musical Director - Thomas Juneau. Thomas, a specialist in choral music has conducted choruses throughout the world. He is also Director of Choral activities and assistant professor at Wagner College, Music Director of the Summit Chorale. He has conducted choirs at the Vatican, Saint Patrick’s Cathedral in Ireland and many other world-renowned locations. Locally he has conducted at Ocean Grove Choral Festival, National Choral Council Handel’s Messiah “Sing-In” at David Geffon Hall and was one of the conductors of Carmina Burana featuring the Orpheus Chorus, Summit Chorale, the Columbia High School Chorus, and JP Stevens High School Chorus.
This concert also features performances from our guest soloist: World-renowned Bass, Frank Basile. Frank is an experienced musician in many fields of music performance from opera and Broadway to jazz vocals and instrumentals.
