Finding Home in Junction: Solo Exhibition by Jeenho Seo at ART PAN Gallery

Seo is known for his multidisciplinary work that merges traditional East Asian aesthetics with explorations of contemporary space. In this exhibition, he reinterprets the concept of “home” not as a fixed location, but as a fleeting sensation experienced in balance with one’s surrounding environment. Through sculpture, installation, and painting, he visualizes a transient and abstract sense of “home” found at the intersection of relationships and cultures. Seo studied sculpture and traditional East Asian painting at Hongik University and later earned an MFA in sculpture from Yale University. He has held solo exhibitions at venues including Subtitled NYC and Backyard Ghost in Brooklyn, and Gallery H in Seoul. His works have been exhibited by institutions such as the Japan Society and High Line Nine. Through sculpture, performance, and conceptual installation, Seo engages viewers in deep reflections on existence, choice, and the autonomy of materials, presenting new directions for contemporary sculpture. His work has been featured in major publications including VOGUE, Arte Fuse, and The Korea Times. He also teaches at institutions such as Pratt Institute, UCLA, and Columbia University, combining artistic practice with educational engagement.
