From Puppy to Purpose: Learn How to Become a Volunteer Trainer for WAGS
WAGS is hosting a FREE info session for anyone interested in becoming a volunteer dog trainer. New trainers begin as volunteer puppy raisers — working directly with a puppy as they take their first steps toward becoming a service or clinical therapy dog.
What to expect: In this 90-minute session, you'll learn about the WAGS organization, get an inside look at what volunteer trainers actually do, what the puppy raiser role looks like, and whether it might be the right fit for you. Plenty of time for questions, and refreshments provided!
Who should come: If you're someone who's hands-on, eager to learn, and ready to take on a meaningful challenge, this might be exactly the right fit. No formal dog training experience required — experience and comfort level with dogs is preferred.
