James by Percival Everett. This retelling of Mark Twain's Huckleberry Finn, told from the enslaved Jim's point of view, is harrowing and ferociously funny. This book was chosen for a state-wide read by the Chancellor of UW-Madison. A limited number of free copies will be available at the top floor Information Desk starting Tuesday, October 7.
