Full Moon Hike
Overview
These winter night hikes, led by naturalist David Bendlin, provide a unique opportunity to experience the outdoors in a quiet, natural setting. Unlike the candlelight hikes described previously, these outings are conducted under more primitive conditions and are designed to immerse participants in the serenity of the winter woods at night.
Unique Features of the Hikes
• No bonfires, hot chocolate, or treats are provided during these hikes.
• Dogs are not allowed on the trails.
• Both hikes are free and open to the public, though donations are appreciated.
Participant Requirements
• Participants must be dressed appropriately for the weather conditions to ensure safety and comfort.
• Hikers should be prepared to walk on uncleared trails, which may present additional challenges due to snow or ice.
Experience
