William “Sonny” Simon VFW Post 8216 continues mission at its annual Tee It Up for the Troops (TIUFTT) 2024 golf outing fundraiser, presented by Lake Ridge Bank. The event begins with Inprocessing at 10:30 am at Middleton’s Pleasant View Golf Course on Friday, July 12, 2024. Golf player registration and sponsorship packages are now live!
In military-speak, Charlie-Mike translates to “continue mission”. For our local Veterans, the mission never ends. Our mission is to serve our local Veterans, Soldiers, family members, and community. And it all starts with you.
We can only do this with support of our community. Since its inception in 2005, has raised over $450,000 and has become VFW Post 8216’s greatest fundraising event each year. The funds we raise support Wisconsin-area nonprofits, services, and programs such as RSVP Vets Helping Vets, Porchlight, and Heat for Heroes. We can only do this with the support of our community.
The tournament offers military-style camaraderie beginning with Inprocessing at 10:30 am, and a cookout "Chow" lunch at 11:00 am, “Reveille” shotgun start at 12:30 pm, silent auction, raffle prizes and Hail & Farewell dinner with Coin Ceremony following a fun day of golf. Lunch, drink tix, and dinner provided. Let's keep the momentum going!
Player registrations and sponsor packages and are good-to-go. Player registration fee is $150 per golfer and $600 per foursome. Sponsorship opportunities start at $250 for Hole Sponsorship. Tee It Up for the Troops 2024 is a great opportunity for local, independent businesses to support our Veterans and their families. Donations are always welcome.

About the Tee It Up for the Troops 2024 Golf Outing:
Some Veterans continue to deal with the sacrifices and after-effects of their service for years after they leave the military. Middleton’s William “Sonny” Simon VFW Post 8216 is committed to helping their band of brothers and sisters. The Tee It Up for the Troops Golf Outing was initiated in 2005 to raise funds to support community projects that assist local Veterans and their families. To date, Tee It Up for the Troops has raised over $450,000, and distributed proceeds to non-profits and local programs.
