WI Singers Show Choir Camp

WI Singers and MG Sings is hosting a middle and high school show choir camp Feb 3 from 3-4:30pm at Monona Grove High School. The camp is in advance of the WI Singers 7pm show that evening. Students will work individually and in small groups with members of the group, and what they learn at camp will be performed that evening at the concert. Join us for an intro to show choir or to brush up on your skills with a talented touring group. $35 for camp & concert / $20 concert only. The WI Singers concert itself, called ‘Opposites Attract’ is a new original 90-minute show, performed by unpaid full-time UW students collectively studying more than 24 majors. The show features captivating vocals, stunning choreography, and the electrifying 10-piece Wisconsin Singers student band. This exhilarating pop music revue explores the variation in the world around us, and the unexpected greatness of bringing opposites and difference together. Audiences will enjoy music from legendary artists such as Tina Turner, Queen, Dolly Parton, and Michael Bublé; showstopping numbers from Hamilton, Wicked, Some Like It Hot, and other award-winning musicals; and even favorite tunes from beloved movie soundtracks like High School Musical, A Goofy Movie, and The Breakfast Club. Performed by UW-Madison’s nationally renowned dancers, singers, and instrumentalists, Wisconsin Singers will ignite the stage with more than 50 songs in their newest original show. The Singers and their ever-contagious Badger spirit are an unforgettable entertainment experience for every age and musical taste!
