World Quizzing Championships
Date: Saturday, June 1, 2024
Place: Madison Public Library-Sequoya Branch, 4340 Tokay Blvd., Madison, WI 53711 (tel 608-266-6385)
Time: Library opens at 9 a.m. Meeting Room doors open by 10:45 a.m. Quiz begins promptly at 11:00 am and should be done about 1:45 pm.
Out-of-town Directions: From U.S. 18 / Beltline Hwy take Exit 258, go 1.25 miles north on Midvale Blvd. Turn right on Tokay Blvd., go one block east and then left on Caromar Drive. Please allow extra driving time in case of traffic delays/detours.
Parking: Free lot in the Sequoya Commons shopping center next to library and free no-limit parking on nearby side streets.
Eating: Non-annoying snacks and non-alcoholic beverages are permitted in the meeting room but may be prohibited in other parts of the library.
Cost: Free for registrants. Walk-in participants may have to pay for the cost of photocopying an extra quiz.
Format: 240 written questions taken in two halves of 60 minutes each with a short break between. Scoring done by players exchanging papers after each half. Please bring your own pencils and/or pens.
