Taizé Prayer
Join us for a serene and contemplative event as we embrace the spirit of Taizé prayer and meditation in the assembly room at Holy Wisdom Monastery. This unique experience, set to replace mid-day prayer on Mar. 13, will immerse you in a meditative prayer, creating a sacred space.
The essence of this gathering lies in the simplicity of our worship. Together, we will engage in uncomplicated, repetitive songs that echo through the air, transcending words and allowing the mystery of God to become tangible. Our event will feature simple sung refrains, passages from scripture and a brief spoken meditation. Patti LaCross, Sunday Assembly member, will give a brief meditation on the Lenten season, exploring the positive and life-giving experiences that pave the way for "resurrection."
