The Swedish pop group ABBA dominated the charts in the 1970s, releasing eight studio albums in that time. Their upbeat, dance-friendly songs hit at the height of the disco era, turning the group into a global phenomenon.
ABBAMANIA from Canada performs a tribute to ABBA that will dominate the Edgerton Performing Arts Center at 200 Elm High Dr. Edgerton, WI 53534. The concert is on Saturday, October 18th at 7:30 PM and will feature all of ABBA’s biggest hits, including “Mamma Mia,” “Dancing Queen,” “Waterloo,” “Take a Chance,” “Money Money,” Chiquitita,” “Voulez Vous” and “The Winner Takes It All.” The Canadian band gets the audience members involved throughout the show.
ABBAMANIA, The only production to perform for Mamma Mia, is the world’s number one tribute to ABBA. ABBAMANIA recreates ABBA as they were on stage in concert as one of the most successful bands in pop history.
ABBAMANIA has performed for the past 18 years to sold out concerts with performing arts centers across the US and CANADA as well as with The London Symphony, San Diego Symphony, Boston Symphony, Vancouver Symphony, Denver Symphony and the Montreal Symphony, to mention a few.
The cast features Angela Seeger as Agnetha, Monica Tietz as Anni-Frid, Matthew Whale as Benny and John Stevens as Bjorn.
