Live Nativity
Come catch the spirit of Christmas by attending Burke Lutheran Church‘s live Nativity. It will be held on Sunday, December 17th, 4:00pm -5:30pm. The scene will feature members of Burke Lutheran Church as portraying Mary & Joseph, the Wisemen, Shepherds, a drummer boy and angels. In addition as you drive by you will hear Christmas music all of which will help you prepare for the coming of the birth of Jesus.
The first 75 cars will receive a free bag of food including items such as ham and potatoes. Funding to help support those in need comes from the Madison Community Foundation Ecumenical grant.
Burke Lutheran Church is located at 5720 Portage Road, Madison. It is about three-quarters of a mile north of the UW East Hospital. Questions can be directed to the church at 608-244-8486. Everyone is invited to Candlelight Christmas Eve worship at 3:00pm and 9:00pm on December 24.
