Orienteering at Blue Mound State Park
Using a detailed map and a compass, navigate to a series of flags along a pre-set course. Maps are provided. Limited loaner compasses are available.
Beginner through Advanced courses will be offered.
Start from the Friends Shelter (near the pool) between 10am-Noon. Courses close at 2pm.
Beginner's clinic at about 10:30am.
Great fun for all on a lovely day in a beautiful park!
PRE-REGISTER to be guaranteed a map. Walk-ups are welcome, but only as long as the map supply lasts.
