J Edwards just runs under the radar. That’s all there is to it. He also came up singing with his family in church and came to the forefront with his growl and gravely voice taking lead on the get up and get with it songs. More often than not there will be many in the crowd at his performances saying ”What the heck was that?” His lyrics and velvet over gravel voice leave you laughing in the seats, crying in the aisles and pondering life choices as you leave feeling like you’ve been to the last secret meeting of the real music revival.
